About Lucille
I have been teaching Dutch for one year in a classroom setting at the CAE (Centre for Adult Education). Due to Covid-19 I've moved my classes online, and it's been a great experience!
Students love it and I love it! You can basically attend class in your PJ's with your cat on your lap and there's no time or energy wasted on commuting. I'm teaching the classes from my home in Prahran, Melbourne. Where I've been living with my Kiwi partner for just over one year. I have a University Bachelor of Arts with a background in media studies and arts events, therefore each class will always end with a Dutch media tip!

My beginners classes offer an introduction to the Dutch language, including: basic conversations, Dutch culture, and fundamentals of the Dutch grammar. I teach 9 week courses on various levels, for individuals or small groups of maximum 5 students (online). Most of my students have the desire to move to the Netherlands for various reasons, and I help them with information on the process. A personal approach is key, and I redesign my classes to individual needs. I stimulate a social and comfortable learning environment by building rapport with my students, implementing online games and music elements.
