About Katie
I am a dedicated and experienced Guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching and professional experience. I work with school and college students and guide them step by step towards mastering the guitar.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been helping students overcome stage fear and perform confidently at events. Their transformation gives me great satisfaction as a teacher.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong technical base, including chords, rhythm patterns, scales, and performance skills. I make learning simple, structured, and enjoyable.
I believe music can shape personality and build confidence. My mission is to help students discover their potential, stay disciplined, and develop a lifelong passion for guitar.

My Guitar teaching methodology is centred on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create a meaningful and result-oriented learning experience. I begin by carefully understanding each student’s interest, level, and learning goals. Motivation is a strong foundation in my classes.
I encourage students to stay positive, consistent, and confident by setting realistic short-term goals that lead to long-term success. I appreciate every improvement, which helps students stay inspired. Communication is always clear and simple. I explain techniques like chord transitions, strumming control, scale patterns, and rhythm timing step by step.
I also demonstrate each concept practically and patiently repeat when needed. Integrity means I teach with sincerity and focus on correct posture, finger strength, coordination, and disciplined practice habits. I guide students honestly and help them develop responsibility towards their learning.
Creativity is included through improvisation exercises, songwriting basics, and exploring different music genres. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory fundamentals, ear training, and rhythm exercises to support complete musical understanding.
