About Michelle

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher. My journey in education began 10 years ago, where I started to sew the seed, of my professional knowledge and understanding, in education. I have gained experience through a diverse range of learning environments including urban, rural and shortly remote. I have always held education in high esteem, because learning is a continuous journey.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based upon innovative teaching and learning - adapting to the learner's needs and the environment. We live in a time where it is fast-paced, with the rise in technology and access to possibilities, for future generations. It is a given that educators are teaching students of the future, who may undertake jobs that are non-existent today. It is important to ensure students are given an education that contains an equitable foundation that can be weaved into various scenarios that are relatable to their world, or linked with new-found experiences. Understanding the learner is a key component. 'Learner self-awareness' is important too, for self-assessment and goal setting. Rich and engaging learning, compliment purposeful learning opportunities.
