About Parker
I am a dedicated and patient Violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, having successfully trained around 150 students across various learning stages. Teaching violin allows me to inspire focus, discipline, and creativity in my students. My lessons emphasise mastering foundational skills such as posture alignment, controlled bowing, accurate fingering, tone clarity, and rhythm consistency.
Once students build a strong base, I introduce advanced techniques, expressive phrasing, and stage performance preparation. I maintain a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I provide structured practice plans and regular progress evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. A unique quality I bring is my attention to detail and ability to identify technical corrections quickly. My goal is to develop confident and expressive musicians.

I believe that violin education should be practical, inspiring, and systematic. My teaching style is centred on open communication and continuous feedback. I carefully adjust my lessons to match the student’s pace and comfort level. I guide them through important techniques such as vibrato development, shifting accuracy, articulation control, and expressive dynamics.
Along with violin practice, I teach music theory, rhythm training, ear exercises, sight reading, music history, and ensemble performance skills. I use real-life case studies from concerts, competitions, and exam settings to prepare students for stage situations. I also focus on helping students overcome performance anxiety and maintain focus during practice. My objective is to build technical excellence and creative expression.
