About Kini
With 6 years of experience teaching and performing the violin, I am deeply committed to helping students achieve technical mastery and personal growth through music. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, competitions, and exams.
One of the highlights of my career has been helping students progress from hesitant beginners into confident performers capable of playing with skill, emotion, and expression. My teaching emphasises strong fundamentals, including posture, bowing technique, finger placement, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expression.
I incorporate music theory, sight-reading, and listening exercises to build a well-rounded understanding of music. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment. Teaching violin allows me to inspire students, nurture confidence, and develop a lifelong passion for music.

I teach violin with a methodology centred on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to develop technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are customised to the student’s abilities, learning style, and goals, combining technical exercises, creative exploration, and performance practice.
Motivation is at the core of my approach. I guide students to set clear, achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones, fostering perseverance, self-confidence, and a love for music. Communication ensures lessons are interactive, collaborative, and supportive, allowing students to express challenges, ask questions, and explore musical ideas freely.
Creativity is emphasised through improvisation, interpretation, and composition exercises, helping students develop a personal artistic voice and deep emotional connection to music. Integrity encourages disciplined practice, responsibility, and respect for learning, ensuring sustainable growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, equipping students with a holistic understanding of music. My methodology nurtures technical mastery, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
