About Kahina
With 5 years of teaching and performing experience, I am a passionate violin tutor committed to helping students grow as confident, skilled, and expressive musicians. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners discovering foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, competitions, and exams.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performers capable of playing with technical skill, emotion, and expressive interpretation.
My teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive performance.
I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide a holistic and well-rounded musical education. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to explore, express themselves, and reach their full potential. Teaching violin allows me to cultivate confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.

I teach violin using a methodology grounded in motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to cultivate technically proficient, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are fully personalized to the student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, integrating structured technical exercises, creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation is at the heart of my teaching. I help students set meaningful short-term and long-term goals, track progress carefully, and celebrate milestones. This fosters perseverance, self-confidence, and a love for learning music. Students learn to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, viewing mistakes as valuable learning experiences that strengthen their technical and emotional skills.
Communication ensures lessons are collaborative, interactive, and supportive. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share difficulties, and express ideas freely, cultivating trust, engagement, and collaboration in the learning process.
Creativity is integrated throughout every lesson. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises allow students to explore their personal artistic voice and develop a deep emotional connection to music. Integrity emphasizes disciplined, responsible practice, respect for learning, and consistent effort, building habits that support long-term excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, giving students a comprehensive foundation in musicianship. This methodology nurtures technical mastery, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
