About Bee
I am an experienced violin tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional music experience, passionate about helping students develop technical skill, musical creativity, and self-confidence. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, competitions, and exams.
One of the most meaningful milestones in my career has been witnessing students transform from struggling beginners to confident performers capable of playing with skill, emotion, and musical expression.
My teaching emphasises building strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also nurturing creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive playing. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide a complete musical education.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore, experiment, and achieve their full potential. Teaching violin allows me to nurture confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music in every student.

I teach violin using a methodology focused on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to cultivate musicians who are technically skilled, expressive, and confident. Lessons are personalised to the student’s goals, abilities, and learning style, blending structured technical exercises with creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation drives learning. I help students set meaningful goals, monitor progress, and celebrate milestones, fostering perseverance, self-confidence, and a love for music. Students learn to embrace challenges and approach practice with enthusiasm.
Communication ensures lessons are interactive, collaborative, and supportive. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share challenges, and explore ideas freely, creating a trusting learning environment.
Creativity is central to every lesson. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises allow students to develop their artistic voice and emotional connection to music. Integrity emphasises disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, forming habits that support long-term growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, providing students with a holistic foundation in musicianship for both technical mastery and artistic expression.
