About Jacinta
Hi, I'm Jacinta, a current university student studying for a bachelor of science with the aspiration of achieving a post-grad in medicine. Despite my academic pursuits, my creative passion lies in the piano, and I seize every waking chance to immerse myself in its enchanting melodies, using music as an outlet to unwind and express myself creatively. I truly believe the creativity of playing a musical instrument (especially the piano) can have the cognitive ability to enrich our experiences throughout every other aspect of our life. I believe everyone of all ages deserves the chance to experience this type of enrichment.

The piano teaching style I employ is characterized by its adaptability and individualization. I believe in tailoring each lesson to the student's unique learning pace, preferences, and goals. I also make sure that there is always an aspect of motivation as practising any hobby can sometimes be tricky. My approach combines structured guidance with creative exploration, encouraging students to develop their musicality and expressiveness. I foster a positive and supportive environment, nurturing their confidence and passion for playing the piano while also creating a calm essence during practice that can balance the technicality and passion that is always expressed in great musicians. Exercises, music theory, and engaging repertoire are also very important aspects, that I individually create to help express these fundamentals in all aspects of learning. I aim to instil a solid foundation while sparking joy and a lifelong appreciation for music in my students. :)
