About Lou
As a passionate Spanish tutor with 9 years of professional experience, I have taught around 150–200 students of all levels, helping them achieve confidence and fluency through personalised instruction. I believe successful language learning begins with understanding each student's individual needs, so I carefully tailor every lesson to support their goals and learning pace.
My teaching approach develops grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through practical communication and engaging activities. I use discussions, role-playing, pronunciation practice, interactive exercises, and cultural topics to help students experience Spanish in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
I strive to create a classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning from their mistakes. Regular feedback, progress tracking, and personalised guidance allow learners to recognise their achievements while continuing to improve with confidence.
