About Wren
I am an experienced Piano tutor with over 16 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. I have had the privilege of guiding students at all levels, from beginners discovering piano to advanced learners preparing for performances or exams.
My focus is on building technical skill, musical understanding, and confidence while making learning enjoyable and rewarding. My teaching philosophy emphasises strong fundamentals, clear instruction, and regular practice.
I teach finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, sight reading, and music theory while encouraging creativity and expression. Lessons are explained in simple English and supported by exercises, familiar songs, and demonstrations to make learning engaging and effective.
I tailor lessons to each student’s learning pace, age, and goals. For children, lessons are interactive and fun to maintain motivation. For adults and professionals, sessions are structured, efficient, and flexible.
I also guide students in home practice, performance preparation, and exam readiness. Many of my students have performed confidently, passed graded exams, and continued piano as a lifelong passion. Helping students grow musically and personally is my proudest achievement.

I teach with compassion, supportiveness, and clear communication. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and my role is to guide them patiently, positively, and creatively. In piano lessons, I focus on both technical skill and creative expression, helping students gain confidence while developing musical understanding.
I break lessons into manageable steps, provide clear demonstrations, and encourage active participation and experimentation. Constructive feedback and positive reinforcement are central to my approach, helping students stay motivated and engaged.
I also teach other relevant subjects using the same adaptable and student-focused methodology. My goal is to help students achieve their goals, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning and personal expression.
