About Archu
Over the past 12 years, I have taught piano to nearly 300 students, including high school learners, college students, and adults, helping each of them develop technical proficiency, performance confidence, and a deep love for music.
My teaching philosophy emphasises consistent practice, discipline, and expressive performance, with a focus on posture, hand coordination, finger control, scales, arpeggios, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical phrasing.
Lessons include technical exercises, repertoire practice, and theory, along with guidance for effective home practice. Many of my students have performed successfully in recitals, competitions, and school events, while others have earned high distinctions in graded examinations.
My goal is to create a supportive, inspiring, and motivating environment where students feel confident, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential as pianists.

My piano teaching approach is student-focused and growth-oriented. I adapt my lessons to fit each learner’s strengths and preferred learning style. I prioritise proper technique, rhythm stability, hand independence, and musical expression.
Lessons are structured clearly but remain flexible to accommodate individual progress. Collaboration plays a key role, as students actively participate in planning their musical goals and repertoire choices. I maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages confidence and persistence.
In addition to piano performance, I teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and harmony to help students build strong musical knowledge and become independent, confident performers.
