About Haven
With a deep love for music and over 9 years of guitar teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students of all ages and skill levels. Holding a bachelor’s degree in music, I combine technical knowledge with real-world playing experience to create lessons that are both educational and inspiring. My goal is always to help students grow not just as players, but as musicians. Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve worked in various settings—from private lessons to group workshops—adapting my approach to fit each learner’s goals. Whether helping a beginner form their first chord or coaching an advanced player through complex fingerstyle pieces, I bring patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session. My own musical background spans multiple genres, including rock, blues, folk, and acoustic. This versatility allows me to connect with students’ musical interests and tailor lessons accordingly. I emphasize creativity, encouraging students to explore their unique sound while building a solid foundation in technique and theory. I believe that learning guitar should be a rewarding experience, filled with progress and enjoyment. As they progress, lessons delve into fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and rhythm development.
