About Maia
Hi! I’m a guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music focused on Guitar Traditions. My musical journey blends academic study with performance experience in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres demand both precision and creativity. I enjoy helping students master them.
Lessons emphasize strong technique. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and legato phrasing. Skills develop step by step.
I work with both young learners and adult students. Everyone has different musical goals. Lessons adapt to each student’s needs.
