About Nora
I’m a guitar tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering, specialising in guitar. I’m passionate about helping students improvise across jazz and blues subgenres while developing their own style.
My teaching is supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented, perfect for school students, hobbyists, and professionals. I emphasise modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing to build expressive improvisation skills.
I’ve helped learners from intermediate to advanced levels, including those preparing for professional gigs. Lessons combine technique, theory, and creative expression. I encourage confidence, experimentation, and personal voice.
Students explore melodic ideas, phrasing, and spontaneous solos in a fun, structured way. My goal is to help them develop a unique and expressive musical identity.
Whether jazz, blues, or modern improvisation, lessons are tailored to your goals. Together, we’ll unlock musical freedom and creativity on the guitar.

I focus on helping guitarists develop strong music reading skills. Lessons cover both tablature and standard notation, with sight-reading and rhythm exercises presented clearly and practically. My approach is systematic, guiding students step by step.
Students practise reading exercises, rhythmic patterns, and sight-reading passages to build confidence across genres. I emphasise precision, timing, and musical interpretation for effective learning.
I support both Classical Purists and Jazz Explorers, teaching them to navigate written music with ease. Lessons balance theory, technique, and reading practice to strengthen musicianship overall.
Students develop the ability to connect notation to their instrument, improving speed and understanding. Exercises are tailored to goals from classical repertoire to jazz improvisation.
The goal is to make reading music natural and fun. Together, we’ll unlock written music and expand musical possibilities.
