About Stefanie
Precision drives my approach to guitar instruction. I admit that I prefer structure over chaos when teaching students. I integrate fingerpicking, power chords, reading tabs, barre chords, and blues progressions into my curriculum.
Ear training, strumming patterns, tuning and maintenance, and music theory round out my technical instruction. My 13 years of teaching allow me to build lessons around individual motivation. I keep practice purposeful with clear goals. Watching a student master a complex chord progression is quite enjoyable for me.

Playing guitar creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment for you. I align my teaching to the NZ NCEA curriculum levels 1 to 3 and University Entrance.
My degree from the University of Canterbury informs our technical focus. You will receive a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum.
