I am a professional writer with 8 years' experience in drafting corporate bulletins, memos, technical documentation, newsletters, project proposals, and support articles. I have been the first resource for reviewing my colleague's documents and presentations for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Having tutored 3 of my colleagues from Germany, in effort to increase their proficiency in the English language, they have significantly improved not only their confidence when presenting and writing documentation, but their communication skills, as well.

My name is Sam Driessen. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration as well as an MBA. With 8 years working as a Specialist and Analyst at the ALDI corporate office, I have extensive experience in writing executive-level reports and documentation, in which impeccable English is imperative. My audience has even included the ALDI U.S. presidents.
Most importantly, I have a great passion for teaching. Specifically, teaching those looking to improve on their academic English skills; writing, speaking and expanding their vocabulary. Those that have completed high school, but are in need of strengthening their academic English knowledge and skills. I know first hand how important it is to present polished material for submitting in any academic or professional setting.
My teaching method is a student centered approach to learning. With this, not only do I facilitate, instruct, and coach students, but I also encourage participation through sharing of exercises, assignments, comments and asking questions. This way, I know the material covered is being received and put into practice.
My teaching approach encompasses learning the strength and weaknesses of the students at the beginning of the course, so that I am able to tailor to their needs. In doing so, their chance of success is greatly increased among pacing at their level; developing strengths and working on weaknesses.
