About Balogun
I am an English Language graduate with a genuine interest in teaching and working with children. My experience in the classroom has shown me how rewarding it is to watch a child go from struggling with a concept to finally understanding it and becoming more confident. That is one of the things I enjoy most about teaching.
I particularly enjoy working with younger learners because I believe the early stages of learning are very important. A child’s experience at this stage can shape how they feel about learning in the years that follow. I would love the opportunity to support children with their early learning and assignments, while making sure they understand what they are learning rather than simply completing tasks for them.

I believe effective teaching begins with understanding the learner. For early learners especially, I focus on making lessons clear, engaging and appropriate for their level, while giving them enough room to ask questions, explore and learn at their own pace. I do not want a child to simply know the answer; I want them to understand how they arrived at it.
For assignment assistance, I see the assignment as an opportunity to reinforce what the child has been taught. I guide them through the questions, explain areas they find difficult and encourage them to attempt the work themselves rather than simply giving them the answers. This helps me identify gaps in their understanding and gives the child the confidence to work independently.
