About Adejumo
Hello everyone, and welcome!
My name is Pelumi and I’m your teacher for this class.
Even though we’re meeting online and not in the same classroom, I still see this as our learning space. I’m here to guide you, support you, and help you grow — not just in this subject, but as learners and as people.
Who am I? I’m someone who believes that every student has the ability to succeed. My job is to make lessons clear, to answer your questions, and to create a space where you feel comfortable to learn, even through a screen.
Why do I love teaching?
I love teaching because I get to see the “aha!” moments. I love when a topic that felt hard last week finally clicks today. I love your questions in the chat, your effort in assignments, and how you keep showing up to learn.
Teaching online reminds me that learning can happen anywhere — in a classroom, at home, or anywhere with internet. And I love being the person who helps make that happen for you.
In this class, we’ll work together. We’ll have discussions, activities, and challenges. There will be times it’s easy and times it’s hard. But I promise I’ll be here with you through all of it — to explain things again, to encourage you, and to celebrate your progress.

I am a passionate and dedicated teacher committed to shaping young minds and supporting students in reaching their full potential. As a teacher, I plan and deliver engaging lessons, create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and adapt my teaching methods to meet the different learning needs of every student. I focus not just on academics, but also on building confidence, discipline, critical thinking, and good character. I assess student progress, provide feedback, and work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure each learner is supported both in and out of the classroom. Teaching, to me, is more than a job it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging growth, and helping students become responsible, knowledgeable, and successful individuals.
