About Charlize

I am a Cape Town based interior designer with a Higher Diploma and seven years of experience working on bespoke joinery, residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. SketchUp has been part of my daily workflow for many years, and I genuinely enjoy helping others feel comfortable and confident using it. I believe learning design software should feel approachable and encouraging rather than overwhelming. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student, so you can learn at your own pace while building practical skills that will support your studies, career, or creative projects :)

About the lesson

My goal is to make SketchUp easy to understand and enjoyable to learn while focusing on real-world design workflows. As a professional interior designer with seven years of experience, I teach practical techniques used in architecture and interior design projects. I also guide students on overall file organisation, helping them structure models, layers, components, and layouts in a clear and professional way. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, whether you are a beginner learning the basics, a design student, or a professional wanting to refine your skills. You can expect supportive guidance, clear demonstrations, and practical exercises that build confidence and efficiency in SketchUp! I am able to teach in English & Afrikaans.
