As a tutor, I will confidently assert myself as an active listener and communicate affectively with the student on what they wish to achieve and how we will approach this goal by focusing on each individual step. I will lead the lessons efficiently; ensuring it is relevant and applying new knowledge to the test in essay writing, identical to what is necessary in the real exams the student will be sitting. I will work alongside the student empathetically and further educate for guaranteed high grades.
My singular previous experience as a tutor would be unprofessionally with my sister. She sat at a grade 3 at the midst of Year 10 - encouraging me to help her with gaining technical and in depth knowledge on the text and establishing a confident structure on essay writing.
My lessons will typically aim towards teenagers studying for their GCSE’S (14-16). My lessons duration would be 1-2 hours - for students currently on grades 5 or below who wish to boost their final grade.
