About Grace
I’m a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, majoring in Voice. I specialize in creating a calm, nurturing space where every student feels safe, celebrated, and truly heard. My approach is especially supportive for neurodivergent learners and those navigating anxiety. I use sensory-friendly vocal exercises, gentle warm-ups, and visual cues to guide learning in a way that feels clear and reassuring. Lessons are paced with care, focusing on comfort and confidence before complexity. We explore soothing genres like Lullabies, Instrumental Vocalizing, and Calming Pop to build vocal strength while reducing stress. I tailor each session to the individual—some students thrive with quiet repetition, others with playful sounds and imagery. My routines are gentle, consistent, and flexible enough to meet a wide range of emotional and sensory needs. I believe everyone can sing when they feel supported and understood. Whether you're just beginning or reclaiming your voice, I’m here to walk with you. Together, we'll build calm confidence, find your unique sound, and celebrate progress every step of the way. My teaching approach is rooted in helping each student find their true voice while building a strong technical foundation. I focus on posture alignment, breath control, and vocal tone to ensure healthy and powerful singing. In our lessons, we work on diction shaping and clarity to make every word meaningful and expressive.
Musical interpretation plays a key role—I guide students to connect emotionally with the music, whether it’s a solo piece or part of an ensemble. I give special attention to choral blend, teaching how to match tone and pitch in group settings for a unified sound. We also explore harmony, ear training, and phrasing to develop a complete musical sense.
I support students who aim for excellence in ensemble work, guiding them to stand out while still blending beautifully with others. I use exercises that improve listening and tuning, which are vital in both small groups and large choirs. Technique is always taught with purpose, and I adjust my methods to fit each student's goals and style.
From warming up properly to interpreting complex musical passages, I ensure every session builds confidence and skill. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and love watching students grow into expressive and confident singers.
