About Ezra
"I am a passionate singing tutor with over three years of experience and a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance. I deliver highly personalized singing lessons to students of all levels, including school children, college students, and working adult learners. My classes focus heavily on the exciting world of musical theater and Broadway performance, where storytelling meets vocal power.
We will work on deep character acting through song, building a strong stage presence, mastering the belt technique, and developing vocal agility for quick musical changes. I also bring my jazz background into our sessions by strengthening your ear training, harmony singing, vocal improvisation, and basic music theory. For example, I recently helped a high school student prepare for a major audition by teaching them how to act out the lyrics naturally.

"My teaching methodology is geared entirely towards building and sustaining long term vocal careers. We focus on essential subjects like developing vocal stamina for demanding tours, managing daily vocal fatigue, and practicing proper pre and post performance care. My main goal is to teach you how to maintain excellent vocal health so you can protect your instrument for years to come.
I work extensively with dedicated individual performers who are stepping into the spotlight alone and need maximum vocal endurance. I also love helping ensemble vocalists who sing weekly in large choirs or worship teams and need to project clearly without straining their muscles. I remember working with a local singer who was losing their voice after every weekend service until we adjusted their breathing habits.
By learning how to balance your airflow and rest your voice correctly, you will be able to handle heavy performance schedules with ease. We practice practical vocal exercises that prevent strain and keep your tone clean, clear, and resonant.
