About Hadley
I am a singing instructor with 9 years of professional teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. My training spans Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country styles, allowing me to guide students across a wide range of vocal techniques and genres. I focus on building strong foundational skills in breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal placement. Ear development is a key part of my teaching, helping students sing more confidently and in tune. I also incorporate harmony training to strengthen musical awareness and ensemble skills. Improvisation is encouraged to help students become more creative and expressive performers. My lessons include essential music theory to support deeper understanding of how music works. Each student receives personalised coaching based on their goals and current ability. I work on improving vocal control through structured exercises and consistent practice routines. Musical expression is developed by exploring emotion, dynamics, and storytelling in songs. I prepare students for real performance situations with a strong focus on stage readiness. Confidence building is central to my approach, ensuring students feel secure while performing. My goal is to help every singer develop both technical skill and a unique artistic voice.

My singing lessons are designed to build strong vocal foundations while adapting to each learner’s level and personality. For The Soloist in Training, the focus is on refining pitch perfection through structured scales, controlled breath work, and precise vocal placement. Expressiveness is developed by exploring dynamics, phrasing, and emotional interpretation across different song styles. For The Adult Beginner, the approach starts with comfort and confidence, using simple melodies and familiar songs to reduce hesitation. Gradually, vocal control is strengthened through guided repetition and gentle technical exercises. Different genres like pop, classical, jazz, and folk are used to broaden musical understanding and improve adaptability. Song choice is carefully matched to each student’s current ability to ensure steady progress without overwhelm. Modern technology plays a key role in tracking improvement. Recording software is used to let students hear their own progress and identify areas for refinement. Ear training apps help develop accurate pitch recognition and timing skills. Pitch correction tools are introduced not for dependency but for awareness and self-correction training. Confidence is built through regular performance practice and supportive feedback. Over time, students develop not only technical skill but also musical identity and stage readiness.
