About Millie
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 22 years of teaching experience and over 250 students taught. I work with High School and College students to develop technical vocal skills, improve tone and pitch, and perform with confidence and expression. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and personalised lessons that adapt to each student’s needs. Lessons include vocal exercises, breath control, music theory, and stage performance practice. Many of my students have earned awards and recognition in competitions and school or college events. I strive to create an inspiring and supportive environment where students grow as confident, expressive singers.

My singing teaching methodology is flexible, creative, and confidence-building. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and vocal level, ensuring steady and effective progress. Lessons include warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch training, tone improvement, and expressive singing. I explain techniques simply and support learning with demonstrations. Creativity is encouraged through song choice, personal interpretation, and emotional connection, making lessons fun and motivating. Diplomacy is central to my teaching. I provide positive, respectful feedback, helping students feel supported and confident. In addition to Singing, I teach music theory basics, ear training, rhythm practice, vocal hygiene, posture, and stage presence. These subjects help students become complete vocal performers.
