About Wesley
"I am a vocal teacher with 6 years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My goal is to help every student become a confident singer while also growing as a well-rounded musician. I believe that good singing comes from understanding both the voice and the music behind it.
My lessons combine genre training, ear skills, harmony, improvisation, and music theory in a simple and practical way. Every student receives a learning plan that matches their goals, experience, and musical interests. For example, a student preparing for auditions may focus on technique and interpretation, while another may work on songwriting and creative expression.
I encourage steady progress through clear guidance, regular practice, and supportive feedback. Building confidence is just as important as improving vocal technique, so I create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable learning from every lesson. Watching students perform with greater freedom and musical understanding is the most rewarding part of my work. My aim is to help every learner develop a strong voice, lasting musicianship, and a genuine enjoyment of singing."

"My singing lessons are designed for both The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, helping each student develop strong music literacy and confident sight singing skills. We begin with simple notation reading, interval training, rhythm practice, and harmony exercises that build a solid musical base. Every lesson connects what you see on the page with what you hear and sing, making learning feel natural.
For The Orchestra Member, the focus is on reading music accurately, blending with other singers, and staying rhythmically steady. For The Crossover Artist, we also explore how these same skills make it easier to perform across different musical styles with confidence. I often share examples from choir rehearsals where strong sight reading helps singers learn new pieces much faster.
We use sight singing apps, rhythm trainers, and notation tools to make practice more enjoyable between lessons. Small daily exercises are more effective than long practice sessions once a week, and many students notice steady progress with this routine. Ear, mind, and voice work together throughout every activity so musical ideas become easier to recognize and perform. Step by step, students gain stronger pitch accuracy, better rhythm, and greater confidence when learning new songs."
