About Carolina

~ My educational background includes Speech Therapy and singing studies ~

I started singing when I was 13 years old. Since then, I have been taken singing lessons with different tutors and I have also studied acting and musical theater. My educational journey also includes studies in Speech Therapy, which provided me with valuable insights into the workings of the human voice. While I did not complete the degree, as its focus was primarily on medical aspects in general, it laid a strong foundation for my understanding of vocal physiology. I pursued singing courses to further develop my knowledge of vocal technique and performance. These courses provided me with a deeper understanding of vocal performance and expression.

As well as being a student, I gained practical experience as a singing assistant teacher during those years, facilitating group lessons across various age groups, and had the opportunity to sing live in restaurants, plays, events, and auditions for contests and tv shows.

I'm thankful for the diversity of my educational path, as it gave me the possibility of explroring the human voice from different perspectives and learn how to be flexible and open to new discoveries and ways of doing things

Since 2020, I've been working as a singing teacher, giving online lessons to students from different parts of the world (UK, Italy, India, Canada, Croatia, Bangladesh, Norway, among others), to all ages and levels.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Carolina, a singer and vocal coach from Argentina.

☆ My main objective is to help my students to feel confident, develop a healthy and solid vocal technique, and to find their own style and personality as singers ☆

I consider that the main two pilars of singing are a good vocal technique but also an effective emotional management. When we start a singing learning journey it's normal that some "negative feelings" can appear along the way, like fear, embarrassment or mental blocks. I understand that these feelings are not always easy to manage and that they can influence in how much we improve or get stuck. But they are completetly normal! As we are working with feelings and our own body, our instrument - the voice - is inside us :)

Because I've also been through these challenges myself in my own learning process, my main focus as a teacher is to create a safe enviroment and to work at your own pace with your specific needs so you can feel confident and reach your full potential.

- Producing a clear tone
- ‘Breaks’ in the voice
- Breathing exercises
- Feeling comfortable with vocal registers
- Boosting your confidence
