About Kay
Teaching singing connects me to the music that defined my childhood, so I prioritise vocal health and care alongside pitch control and vibrato control. Working with performers means I focus on belting technique, vocal range extension, and genre styling across pop, classical, and musical theatre. I also integrate microphone technique, exam preparation, head and chest voice, and diction and articulation to ensure consistent progress.
My studio builds confidence through structured technique that preserves the joy of singing. After 13 years, I rely on technical precision to help students succeed. You will perform with total security.

Stepping into the studio for the first time might feel intimidating, but I promise the process is quite simple. I curate a personalised song list built around your specific range to ensure the repertoire suits your voice perfectly.
We spend time on warm-ups that prepare the muscles for the specific demands of your chosen pieces. You might find the microphone work a bit tricky at first, though most people adjust within 10.0 minutes of practice. It is about balancing the technical requirements with the character of the music.
We examine every nuance of your diction to clarify the storytelling in each phrase. The work remains grounded in physical ease and artistic freedom throughout the session.
