About Garrett
Music has colored my perspective since childhood, often manifesting as a singular humming note before I even speak. My formal training includes a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from Queensland Conservatorium, which helps me navigate complex vocal physiology.
I work with singers on harmony singing, tone and resonance, vibrato control, sight singing, and exam preparation. Belting technique, diction and articulation, microphone technique, and breathing control form the core of our technical work. I prefer to keep the process grounded so that your technique grows naturally without burying the raw joy of making music.
Students I work with usually arrive wanting to bridge the gap between their bedroom practice and the stage. By focusing on your specific anatomy, I simplify the mechanics of singing while keeping your voice authentic and fresh. I tend to move quickly through theory to get you performing confidently within 1 term.

My 13 years of experience in the industry allow me to pinpoint exactly where your physical tension is hiding. I break down the mechanics of vocal health and provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes. This resource simplifies your daily practice between our meetings.
We will work through 6 distinct modules covering resonance and projection. I focus heavily on how you feel while singing rather than just how you sound to others.
