About Catherine
I have 8 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Vocal Arts. My passion for singing developed through years of vocal training, ensemble performances, and studying different musical traditions. Those experiences inspired me to help students discover the confidence and joy that comes from using their own voice.
My teaching style focuses on encouragement, patience, and individual progress. I use vocal demonstrations, breathing exercises, performance practice, and personalized guidance to help every learner improve naturally. My goal is to create lessons where students feel supported while reaching their full vocal potential.
Outside teaching, I enjoy attending live concerts, learning songs from different cultures, and participating in community music events. Helping students express themselves confidently through singing continues to make every teaching experience meaningful and rewarding.

My lessons cover breathing control, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, tone quality, rhythm, diction, expression, and stage performance through practical exercises and supportive coaching. I encourage learners to enjoy their unique voice while building healthy habits that support steady improvement. Every lesson creates a relaxed and motivating environment for musical growth.
Lessons are personalized according to each student's experience, vocal range, and musical interests. Beginners strengthen breathing, posture, simple vocal exercises, and melody control through guided practice. Intermediate learners improve vocal flexibility, tone development, rhythm, and musical interpretation with structured activities. Advanced students refine performance techniques, expressive delivery, stage presence, and vocal confidence through detailed coaching and regular feedback.
My lessons help students become confident singers who enjoy sharing music with others. Learners improve creativity, listening ability, communication, self-confidence, and emotional expression while developing lifelong vocal skills. Every session supports continuous improvement and a genuine love for singing.
