About Elmer
BFA audition candidates often struggle with the physical demands of a high-stakes performance. My studio sounds like a space where breath flows freely and tension melts away from the jaw. After 13 years in this industry, I lean on my Boston Conservatory degree to help singers navigate vocal health and care.
We examine vocal range extension and the nuance of head and chest voice. I maintain a practice centered on harmony singing and the finer points of tone and resonance. My approach addresses rhythm and phrasing to keep your performance grounded. I offer clear feedback that prioritizes your authentic sound over generic ideas.

Singers reach a place where they trust their instrument entirely in the audition room. It is quite simple really, since we focus on how a piece feels before worrying about how it sounds.
My 13 years of performing in NYC and on tour inform how I run these sessions. I use my BM background to ensure you feel secure.
Students get recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to reinforce our work. These 8 sessions are built for those who need to improve quickly.
