About Courtney
Courtney Egginton is a singer/songwriter from Sydney. Courtney grew up in the Sutherland Shire and was introduced to music at a young age, starting singing lessons when she was 13. Courtney most recently finished a Bachelor of songwriting from JMC and graduated from the Australian Performing Arts Grammar School in 2017. In the last two years Courtney has been gigging around Sydney in an acoustic duo and band as the lead vocalist. At the end of 2019, Courtney traveled to Singapore, working as a backing vocalist for an international artist.Working in childcare, Courtney has gained the experience in working with young children. Helping to find strategies to make learning music fun! Having a wide understanding of vocal technique, Courtney has been able to mould her own voice to sing in a variety of genre's and styles including rock, pop, funk and music theatre to name a few.

I grew up learning all about the voice and technique, to correctly vocalise without injury. Starting every lesson with warmup for your voice type, whether you sing opera or sing in a heavy metal band. ALL singers and creators are welcome.
