About Dennis
My name is Dennis, and I’m a Marine Engineering graduate with a deep love for Mathematics and Physics. I’ve taught during my NYSC and informally over the years, and I’ve seen how powerful it is when a student finally gets it. That moment of understanding—that switch from confusion to confidence—is why I teach. I want to tutor because I believe knowledge should be shared, not hoarded. I enjoy helping people simplify hard topics and discover that math and physics aren’t impossible—they just need the right approach. Teaching gives me purpose, and I see it as a way to give back, sharpen young minds, and even inspire those who might be struggling. I’m also a firm believer in commitment. I enjoy teaching students who are willing to learn, ask questions, and grow. If you’re serious about improving, I’ll give you my best. Let’s make learning clear, useful, and even enjoyable.

As a tutor, I believe every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance and encouragement. I enjoy working with students who are curious, imaginative, and willing to put in the effort to grow. I especially value students who think beyond the surface and enjoy applying concepts to real-life scenarios—those with what I call “3D thinking.”
My approach to tutoring is straightforward: I break down complex topics into simple, understandable steps, using relatable examples and patient guidance. I help students understand, not just memorize. Whether it's algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or physics, my goal is to build confidence and clarity.
That said, I believe learning is a two-way effort. I would not want to waste my time, energy, or data on a student who isn’t serious. It would also be unfair for a parent or student to waste their money on lessons they’re not committed to. I value dedication, focus, and mutual respect in every session.
