About Shahad
As I mentioned, I’m a Penn State graduate with a major in Marketing and two minors: Technical Sales and Management Information Systems. I also hold a degree in Financial Sciences from my home country, Iraq. I’m passionate about languages — Arabic is my native tongue, English is my second language, and I’m currently learning Spanish through a linguistic and historical approach. I don’t just learn languages; I explore how they were shaped — by history, culture, migration, mythology, power, and storytelling — and how they shaped the world in return. For example, I study European history through the evolution of its languages and writing systems, the same way I explore ancient civilizations like Egypt through hieroglyphs, gods, symbols, and visual mapping. I’m a visual learner — I draw maps, characters, timelines, and mythologies to make knowledge come alive. I’m also a writer. I’ve published a children’s book in English and a short story in Arabic, and I’m currently working on multiple novels. I truly believe that the more you learn, the more you realize how much there is left to discover. Knowledge can change how you see the world — from watching a spider and understanding its habitat, to looking at the stars and realizing some of them might not even exist anymore. Knowledge opens your mind. That’s why I believe learning should be meaningful, personal, and lead to real results — not just good grades, but confidence, curiosity, and new possibilities. Every student has their own map, their own pace, their own way of thinking — and that’s where I come in. My goal is to guide you in a way that fits you, so you can reach your goals with understanding, not pressure, and build knowledge that lasts beyond the classroom.
