About Rachel

Hello!

My name is Rose and I am excited to learn with you. I am an established college senior at the prestigious Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

I am an individual that has a passion for learning and helping others learn as well. I want to assure that working with me will not only be helpful for your studies, but it will also be a rewarding experience for you and myself. I strongly believe that I learn from the students I work with. I am just like you! I am a student wanting to learn and gain from others.

I am a creative writer, I love ice-cream, and going to the gym!

About the lesson

Learning with Rose:

My main focus is quality over quantity. Firstly, I always like to assess what type of learner the student is (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and /or Kinaesthetic).

From there, my method for teaching looks like consistent revisitation over material to build and bind connections between material, flash card drills to encourage speed and repetition, visual techniques such as writing out problems on white-boards, as well as audible techniques such as talking through the material so that students can hear themselves thinking through their work.

These methods I have selected are not only effective, but they are applicable for each and every student as I do my absolute best to cater to how students absorb and then more importantly, apply material.

I am available for all students from elementary to college.
