About William

Hello! I'm a professional Senior Software Engineer currently working on one of the UK Government's most high-profile projects (you can see what I'm up to here: (concealed information) I have a wealth of programming experience having worked on many professional projects, using languages and tools such as C, C++, Python, MATLAB, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AWS, etc... I have hundreds of hours of experience as a tutor, having previously taught Maths, Physics, Biology, Psychology, English and History at GCSE and A level. I'm relaxed and easy-going, but focused and determined when it comes to helping you achieve your goals!

About the lesson

Whether you're just starting out, or you just need a hand completing a project, I'm here to help! If you're relatively new to programming, I'll guide the lesson and ensure you follow industry standard best practices from day one. I can tailor all lessons completely to your goals, but here are some suggestions to get you started (we can go into more details in your first free lesson): - Build a modern full-stack web application from scratch, and learn industry standard best practices along the way. - Improve your proficiency in a particular language and apply it to real-world situations. - Learn something totally new from scratch! I'll introduce concepts step by step and you'll build something awesome with your new skills. If you already know some programming concepts, I can help you take your project to the next level, and introduce you to new tools and ideas.
