About Vatsal
I'm a software engineer and web strategist with 13+ years of professional experience building digital products for some of the world's most recognized organizations — including the UK Government, Royal Bank of Canada, Canada Life, and John Wiley & Sons. I currently work as a Web Strategist with the City of Regina and run my own consultancy, Peradeo Technologies, where I work with both enterprises and startups to deliver modern, high-quality web solutions.
My career has taken me across industries and continents, giving me a perspective on technology that goes well beyond any single framework or tool. I've led projects from initial strategy through to final delivery, worked under tight enterprise deadlines, and helped scrappy startups ship their first products — so I understand what it takes to succeed at every scale.
Throughout my career, mentoring has never felt like an extra responsibility — it's always come naturally. Whether guiding a junior developer through their first pull request or helping a colleague rethink their approach to a complex problem, I've always found genuine satisfaction in watching others grow. Teaching on Superprof is a natural extension of that — a chance to share not just technical knowledge, but the mindset, habits, and real-world thinking that make a great engineer.
I bring patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm to every session. My goal isn't just to help you complete a course or pass an exam — it's to help you think and work like a professional, with the confidence to tackle real challenges independently.

With 13+ years of hands-on software engineering experience - working with enterprises like the UK Government, Royal Bank of Canada, Canada Life, and John Wiley & Sons, as well as fast-moving startups — my lessons are grounded in what actually works in the real world, not just textbook theory.
My teaching methodology:
I believe the best way to learn technology is by building things. Every concept I introduce is immediately applied to a practical mini-project or real-world scenario. I adapt my pace and style to each student, whether you're a complete beginner trying to understand how the web works, or an intermediate developer looking to level up your skills and thinking.
A typical lesson —
A session usually follows this flow:
- A quick check-in on where you are and what's clicked or confused since last time
- A focused concept introduction — clear, jargon-free, with real examples from my career
- Hands-on coding or problem-solving together, with me guiding rather than just showing
- A short review and a small challenge or task to try before the next session
What sets me apart:
Most tutors teach from courses or curricula. I teach from lived experience — I've shipped production code for government platforms, led digital strategy for major institutions, and helped startups go from idea to launch. I run my own consultancy, so the advice I give you is the same advice I apply professionally every day. I've also mentored junior developers and colleagues throughout my career, so breaking down complex ideas clearly comes naturally to me.
Who these lessons are for:
- Students studying computer science, software engineering, or web development at college or university
- Professionals looking to switch careers into tech or upskill in modern web technologies
- Junior developers wanting to grow faster and think more like a senior engineer
- Entrepreneurs and startup founders who want to understand their own tech stack
- Anyone curious about how the web works and wanting to build their first project
No prior experience is required for beginner sessions. Intermediate and advanced students are equally welcome — lessons are always tailored to your current level and goals.
