About Soundaryaa

Hello! I'm a Software Engineer with over 5 years of professional experience building scalable backend systems and applications. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science (First Class with Distinction) and have worked on large-scale software platforms used by thousands of users.

Programming has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy helping students understand how software works beyond just memorising syntax. My goal is to make coding approachable, logical, and even fun by connecting theory with real-world examples from industry.

Whether you are a school student learning programming for the first time, a university student studying computer science, or an aspiring developer looking to strengthen your coding skills, I’m happy to guide you step by step.

I specialise in teaching Java, SQL, Data Structures, and programming fundamentals, and I focus on helping students build strong problem-solving skills and confidence in coding.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new technologies and helping others start their journey in programming

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making programming concepts clear and practical. I start by explaining the concept in a simple way and then guide students through hands-on coding so they understand how programmes actually work.

Students are encouraged to ask questions during the session, and I provide useful notes and practice examples to help with revision after the class.

Each lesson is typically 40 minutes long.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science (First Class with Distinction) and have 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer.

My lessons are suitable for Year 9–12 school students, university students, and beginners or early professionals who want to learn Java, SQL, Data Structures, and programming fundamentals.

I can also help with programming assignments, exam preparation, and building strong coding fundamentals
