About Jack
I am a Senior Software Developer with over 8 years of industry experience specialising in frontend engineering, modern JavaScript, and framework architectures. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science & Mathematics from Keele University.
Throughout my career, I have designed and delivered high-performance web applications for major international retail brands as well as global sports organisations across the Premier League, NFL, MLB, and NBA. Working across technologies like React, NextJS, Angular, and TypeScript on large-scale platforms has given me an in-depth understanding of how modern software is built, tested, and maintained in professional production environments.
Alongside day-to-day engineering, I have spent years mentoring junior developers, serving as a Scrum Master to facilitate team growth, and leading youth teams through structured community projects. I find breaking down complex technical challenges into intuitive, accessible concepts genuinely rewarding. My goal as a tutor is to share real-world industry knowledge, help you bridge the gap between abstract theory and practical implementation, and give you the skills and confidence to build production-grade web applications.
