I am a Senior IT professional with 30+ years of experience. I have coached and mentored several mentees through career progression and job transitions. I am professionally trained in coaching and mentoring using the GROW model. I also coach college students on career selection.

I use the widely recognized GROW method in my coaching sessions. The method is based on the body of work done by Sir John Whitmore and Tim Gallaway. I follow the following process in setting up a coaching relationship
1. Create a coaching contract with my client
2. Establish a coaching routine that works for my client and for me
3. Establish the Goals. Work through defining the goals using a SMART model
4. Examine the Reality of the client. Identify blockers and pain-points.
5. Discover the Options available. Determine the "art of the possible"
6. Determine the Will to execute and achieve the goals. Gain commitment from the client
7. Follow-up on progress
Please note that the coaching approach I use requires the client (i.e. you) to take responsibility and accountability for your success. My role as a coach is to provide the necessary guidance to help you reach your objectives.
