About Naomi
With a specialism in social care I have worked with a broad range of programmes and levels as a university lecturer. I also have a background as a further education lecturer in both health and social care and child care. I have experience in support with letter writing, application writing and personal statements. I have also been an academic tutor for 1st year degree students. I have a particular interest in the promotion of race equity, gender equity and supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. I am currently doing my doctorate in these areas of research. Modules I have experience in include: Graduate Skills, Rights and Inclusion, Mental Health, Substance misuse, Working with diverse communities, Advocating for children and young people, Leadership and many more. I am also a dissertation supervisor for social care students in my current institution. I welcome any tutoring requests in my fields of specialism or general university support.
