About Nana
Hello! My name is Naeja, but some people call me Nana or Nae. I’m currently a senior in high school, graduating in the top 15% of my class with a 4.3 GPA. I’m passionate about becoming the best version of myself while staying humble, understanding, considerate, and respectful. I aim to be a positive influence in others' lives, whether as a mentor, a guide, or hopefully a role model. I’m really excited about the opportunity to take on this tutoring position, and I hope I can meet your criteria to be the right fit for your child. I believe I bring not only strong academic skills but also a genuine passion for helping others succeed. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where your child feels confident in their learning journey. Thank you for considering me as your child's tutor. As a tutor, I’m flexible and dedicated to helping each student succeed. I believe every student learns differently, so I make it a priority to understand their individual needs and adapt my teaching style to fit them. I start by getting to know my students, which helps me figure out the best way to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my patience, kindness, and understanding. I care not only about my students' progress but also about who they are as individuals. I create a supportive and encouraging environment that helps them feel confident, both in their abilities and in the material we’re working on.
I specialize in tutoring K-3rd grade math, and I’m passionate about helping younger students build a strong foundation for future learning. My goal is to make sure they not only understand the concepts but also feel excited about learning.
