About Kimberly (Kim)
I am a college senior who majors in literature and history. I specialize in medieval literature, but I have also taken classes in other periods. During the summers, I have worked as a writing center tutor and RA at various pre-college programs including the School of the New York Times. I enjoy editing papers and teaching students how to write literary criticism. While in college, I have won four essay pizes.

I like to introduce literary theory because it makes for a more competitive and interesting essay. My favorites to teach are gender theory, postcolonial criticism, and ecocriticism. As part of the writing process, help students write an outline and thesis statement first. Then, I edit the drafts of the essay.
