About Kira
I have worked with students of various ages for many years. I have been a camp counselor for 3 years and a substitute teacher in a middle school for 2 years. I have completed and passed my English teaching certification, and I have one year left of college and then I will go on to become a full time English teacher! I absolutely love working with students of all ages, and it is a privilege to be able to learn and grow with every student I encounter!

I prefer to use personalized teaching strategies unique to each student to cater to their learning style. My lessons consist of reading, analyzing and overall building/strengthening core ELA skills. I encourage students to be themselves and I take pride in creating a positive and comfortable learning environment. I also allow students to use their creativity and interactiveness while working on the necessary materials.
