About Maddie
As I previously mentioned, I am a senior elementary-middle education student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I started school in the fall of 2022 and will be wrapping up my undergraduate degree in the spring of 2026. My final semester will be my student teaching semester, in which I will be working in a 2nd grade classroom in WI. In addition to my major in elementary-middle education, I have certificates in both Child Welfare and French.

My name is Maddie Beasley. I will be going into my final semester of college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this spring. I am an elementary-middle education student, with experience working with students from K-high school. I recently finished a 5-week practicum experience with 4th graders, teaching primarily math and language arts. This spring, I will be student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom. I love working with students as each student comes with their own unique set of experiences, ideas, and stories. I love being able to learn from my students just as much as I hope that they can enjoy learning from me. I think that student and teacher should have a mutual learning experience where we acknowledge the fact that we are all ongoing learners. It is very important to me that I meet my students where they are at, figuring out what works best for them or what I could do to better support the student.
