About Steve
I am a currently senior at Cornell University majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Business. I have learned and polished my skills by working with challenging problems through my coursework, establishing my expertise in solving and explaining math and science skills and problems. I am also a teacher assistant for heat and mass transfer. I have also been a tutor for math SAT for two years, so I know where some of the pain points are with these skills and how to make it easier to learn.

I am looking to tutor high school and college students who need extra help with math and science. I will have an introductory session for us to get to know each other and learn about what you need help with and your learning styles and an introductory assessment for me to see your skills and weaknesses. Then, I will come into our next session with a lesson plan that can have a combination of an informative lecture and worksheet with problems that we can do together and/or by yourself. I will always wrap up our lessons with time for feedback, how our next session will you, and a quick review of the main points from the current lesson.
One of my main goals is for my students to become more comfortable with various problems and approaches to them. This will be achieved by letting my students gain skills and mentor them through applying and using them.
