About Sashi
I am a fluent Spanish speaker/heritage speaker, and I have experience teaching Spanish at The One World Project (a Spanish immersion school). I am a seal of biliteracy recipient and have taken and am very familiar with the AP Spanish Literature course. I am a member of the Spanish Honors Society and have completed volunteer tutoring through this association.

Students often have a variety of experience levels with the language as well as different goals, so once I get to know my students and their abilities, I use specific techniques and resources to help them progress. For example, if a student is more concerned with improving their speaking abilities, we would focus on learning through guided conversations as opposed to more textbook strategies. On the other hand, if a student is preparing for an example such as the Regents or AP Spanish Literature or Language, our focus would be shifted to the specific skills and knowledge the student needs to perform well on their exam.
