About Dominique
Hello! My name is Dominique and I am a senior Biology major and Communication minor. I have a passion for biology and hope get into grad school and join the research world. My specialization in biology is microbiology, and I'm also conducting undergrad immunology research. When I'm not working, I'm reading, playing video games, playing magic the gathering, creating art, playing with my microscope, reading, or napping. I also love trying and cooking new foods. My current food challenge is recreating popular recipes from restaurants.
My personalized approach to tutoring empowers students, instilling confidence in their academic journey. Much like plants need different conditions to thrive, we humans have our own conditions of learning to succeed. My goal is to expand students' scope of understanding of this interesting universe we find ourselves in.

I employ an interactive and student-centered teaching approach. Rather than a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor my techniques to the individual's learning style by utilizing active participation, real-life examples, and visual aids to enhance comprehension.
My adaptability distinguishes me. I grasp students' unique needs and adjust strategies accordingly. Beyond subject expertise, I prioritize fostering a positive and comfortable learning environment. Attitude towards a topic can either hinder a student or help students thrive. By incorporating real-world connections, I aim to make complex topics more relatable and bridge the disconnect from concepts to everyday life.
Primarily, my target audience are undergraduate students, and my specialization is in biology. However, I extend support to various academic levels and subjects. Whether you're preparing for exams, seeking conceptual clarity, or exploring advanced topics, my tutoring caters to diverse needs.
