About Darlene
Spending 10 years playing gigs across Nashville and Austin shaped my approach as a self-taught guitarist. My experience on stage taught me the importance of developing practical skills that translate directly into confident, expressive playing.
I emphasize songwriting while building a strong foundation in strumming patterns, power chords, fingerpicking, barre chords, and acoustic technique. Each lesson is adapted around your current skill level and the music you genuinely enjoy playing.
Mastering guitar becomes much easier when you learn through songs that inspire you. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between simple chords and a polished, professional sound while developing your own style along the way.
