About Samwit
I'm a Senior Cloud & Backend Engineer with close to four years of experience working in Azure-native cloud environments — handling infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and backend systems in real production settings. My path into software wasn't through a traditional CS degree route; I taught myself to code through hands-on personal projects, which is exactly why I'm confident teaching beginners — I know what it's like to learn this from scratch, without hand-holding. I hold an Azure AZ-900 certification and have a BCA background. I want to teach because I remember how confusing backend concepts felt early on, and I enjoy breaking them down into something that actually makes sense the first time, not the fifth.

I teach backend development the way I learned it — by building real things, not just following theory. My approach is project-based: we start with core Python and Django/FastAPI concepts, then move quickly into building an actual working API or backend feature, since that's how concepts actually stick. A typical class begins with a quick concept walkthrough, followed by hands-on coding together, and ends with a small task to reinforce what we covered. What sets me apart is that I work as a backend/cloud engineer day-to-day, so I teach patterns and practices actually used in production, not just textbook examples. These classes work well for beginners with some Python basics who want to get serious about backend development, as well as college students or early-career developers preparing for real-world projects or job interviews.
