About Alivia
I am a self-taught artist meaning I didn’t have any further education outside of high school. However, I come from a family of educated artists that have each taught me a part of their trade. I have also been successfully working as a digital freelance artist for almost 6 years now. I don’t think learning should be scary so I try my best to learn with the students, from their learning techniques (what might be scary, hard to grasp, or even just frustrating).

Let me help you reach your inner child through art. Adept at working with bright violent colors and helping others find their art style. A typical lesson plan with me would start with the student finding multiple art references to be able to work towards emulating. Then I will take the student back to basic shapes and colors before adding in more detail or technique that can be overwhelming for a first time artist. I work well with all ages from grade school students to the elderly in a retirement home!

Alivia is a wonderful teacher! She broke down the steps of how to look at an object to start drawing for a complete beginner. Then she started to add in shading techniques once I understood the basics. After taking lessons with her, I went and bought an iPad with procreate so I could continue drawing every day!! 10/10 would recommend
